Arrival Time :

We will pick you at your convenience and bring you up to Omalo on Monday.
For an arrival planned another day, please consult us.

Opening time :

We are open from April until the end of September-middle of October (depending on the weather conditions).
In April, see special trek, as well as the beginning of May and the closure time.

Difficulties:

The level of our treks is adjusted to the capacity of each person (distance and difference in altitude walked or ridden during the day, trail difficulty, total duration, conveyance of your belongings or not).
During your enrolment, a short description of your physical condition will be useful for us to build up the best itinerary in accordance with your capacities. (How much walking/sports do you normally do, how would you evaluate your general fitness?)

Group composition:

Our groups are composed of 2 to 8 people. For the walking treks we can guide up to 12 people. (For a group of more than 12 people, please consult us).

Itineraries overview:

We will ride or walk over many passes with terrific sceneries, we will cross some torrents, we will camp near a lake, we will go through high mountain pasture villages like Dartlo (which is protected by UNESCO), we will trek on mountain crests, along some scenic valleys, we will feast at a Georgian table, we will share the shepherds' way of life and test some new fresh cheeses (for the daredevils, you can try to milk some goats and produce your own cheese…), we will observe some golden eagles or maybe a brown bear (if you're lucky). Meals:

Our products are 100% fresh and natural! Our fruits and vegetables are grown without chemicals….if they survive; it is not due to the European magic acts. The meat is either wild or bred in the open environment. You will rediscover the taste of sweetened tomatoes or wild strawberries and the most tender chicken or lamb, amongst other things. So people who are unused to fresh food are welcomed….there is no lyophilised food in our house….ok I agree I will not mix the coffee during the trek!

Breakfast : Coffee, tea and sometimes fresh milk,
    dried fruit*, bread*, marmalades*, honey*,
    cheese or scrambled eggs
Lunch : Bread, dried meat*, cheese*, vegetables*, fruit*.
Dinner : Soup * or Salad, rice or potatoes or pasta, meat,     vegetables*, cheese*, bread*, georgian specialities (sweet)*,     hot beverages (Caucasus infusion).
